20/09/21 Monday

9:00 Meeting at school
9:30/10:00 Welcome at school
10:00 10:45 Self-Presentations of students to get to know each other better.
10:45/11:00.Break coffee
11:00/12:00. Presentations “Environmental protection in our country.”
12:00/12:45. Introduction of Spanish Sentences.
13:00/13:30. Lunch at school.
13:30/14:30. Project Workshop. “Does volunteering do more harm than good?”

Workshop. Groups from differents nationalities work making a poster where they reflected their thougths about the topic.

21/09/21 Tuesday

8:00 Meeting at school. It was though go to “La Trapa” in order to do
outdoor volunteering activities of planting trees, or similar activities.

But, the weather wasn’t good. We changed and we visited Valldemossa, Monastery and the hand made glass “Fiore”.

22/09/2021 Wednesday

9:00 Meeting at school. Activity on the beach.
Outdoor volunteering activity cleaning the beach under the logo “Leave nothing on beach but footprints!” in El Molinar Beach.. Rubbish classification and analysis of different types of it in “Aula del Mar”.

23/09/2021 Thursday

9:00. Meeting at school.
Outdoor learning training activities: exploring history and traditions of Mallorca. Cultural and historical trip to the city. Visiting Cathedral, Santa Eulalia, and the City Hall.
Exploring the most representative monuments of the city.

24/09/2021 Friday

9:00 Meeting at Soller Train Station in Palma. Cultural activity. Visit Soller and Puerto de Soller.
17:00 Meeting of participants to decide the next meeting and evaluate.
20:00 Farewell party. Certificates. Traditional “ball de bot”.

2. Tasks/Decisions

20/09/21 Monday

The headmistress of the school opened the meeting oficially.
Students presented their video about themselves and about environment protection in their countries.
Students participated in a “Spanish” class through the game “The master of the cavern”.
Students participated in a workshop about the topic “Does volunteering do more harm than good?” Each country prepared a poster where they exposed their thougths about the topic, and then, they presented to the rest of the students their job.

21/09/21 Tuesday

It was thougth to visit “La Trapa” to do an outdoor activity, planting trees and helping with the work in a countryside farm, but the weather didn’t allowed us. Instead we visited Valldemossa and their monastry, “La Cartuja”.

22/09/2021 Wednesday

Outdoor activity was made on the beach, under the logo “Leave nothing on beach but footprints!”. We collected rubish and sand to examine later through the microscope in “Aula de la Mar”.

23/09/2021 Thursday

We visited the main monuments in the city, doing an outdoor learning training activities, exploring history and traditions of Mallorca. Cultural and historical trip to the city was made, visiting Cathedral, Santa Eulalia, and the City Hall.

24/09/2021 Friday

We made a cultural activity, visiting the “Repic” beach in Soller and Soller. We went to Soller in a tipycal old wooden train througth the mountains and valleys. Students had a bath on the beach. In the evening, staff made a meeting to decide about the next meeting and evaluate. Later we have farewell party, ceremony of certificates. During the activity a gruop of Traditional “ball de bot” made their performance singing and dancing with the students.
